Release of the free GIS Cloud Publisher extension for Esri ArcMap

A single click solution to get your maps from desktop to the Cloud!

The extension is free and compatible with Esri ArcMap 9.x and 10.x. You can download it from the following link: GIS Cloud Publisher for ArcMap (600kB)

Publishing GIS projects with traditional GIS tools is not easy. You have to set up your own server, being that a server from a commercial vendor or open-source, and follow that with maintaining the server and services, uploading your data from desktop, reconfiguring maps and generating tiles to be optimized for the Web, not to mention mobile and tablets. All these are, for the most part, daunting and/or expensive tasks.

QGIS 1.8 Release

We are very pleased to announce the release of QGIS 1.8.0 'Lisboa', the next in our development release series. This release contains new features and extends the programmatic interface over QGIS 1.0.x and QGIS 1.7.0.

If there is not yet a package for your platform on the above page, please check back regularly as packagers are still pushing out their work and they will update the download page to reflect the new packages. Along with the release of QGIS 1.8.0, the QGIS Community Team is hard at work on an updated QGIS Users' Guide version 1.8.0. The guide will be available in the near future - we will post announcements when it is available.

Από τη Διεύθυνση Δασών Νομού Θεσσαλονίκης, που έχει έδρα την Θεσσαλονίκη, ανακοινώνεται ότι με το υπ’ αριθμ. 35508/8-5-2012 έγγραφό μας, αναρτήθηκαν την Τρίτη 8 Μαϊου 2012, οι δώδεκα (12) δασικοί χάρτες των Τοπικών Κοινοτήτων Αγίας Τριάδας, Περαίας και Ν. Επιβατών του Δήμου Θερμαϊκού, οι δασικοί χάρτες των Τοπικών Κοινοτήτων Θέρμης, Βασιλικών, Ταγαράδων, Ν. Ραιδεστού, Ν. Ρυσίου και Πλαγιαρίου του Δήμου Θέρμης, ο δασικός χάρτης του Δήμου Καλαμαριάς, ο δασικός χάρτης της Τοπικής Κοινότητας Ανάληψης του Δήμου Λαγκαδά και ο δασικός χάρτης της Τοπικής Κοινότητας Μοδίου του Δήμου Βόλβης , σύμφωνα με τις διατάξεις των άρθρων 13 και 14 του Ν. 3889/2010 (Φ.Ε.Κ. 182Α΄).
