Is your organization moving beyond the multi-spectral realm into the world of hyperspectral remote sensing? Hyperspectral sensors such as HYDICE, Hyperion and AVIRIS collect data across a vast portion of the electromagnetic spectrum resulting in as many as 200-300 narrow, contiguous bands - a major difference for organizations used to the 3-4 broad, separated bands commonly used in multispectral imagery.

Hyperspectral imaging can help identify specific materials in an area of interest, enabling more accurate and detailed object detection and classification.
During this webinar, we will illustrate the Spectral Workstation tool in ERDAS IMAGINE, which makes it possible for users without a background in imaging spectrometry to analyze hyperspectral data. For the first in this series of two webinars, the demonstrations will focus on the detection of man-made materials and objects.
