ΔΙΑΧΩΡΙΣΜΟΣ ΔΑΣΟΣ – ΜΗ ΔΑΣΟΣ ΜΕ ΧΡΗΣΗ ΔΟΡΥΦΟΡΙΚΩΝ ΕΙΚΟΝΩΝ ΚΑΙ ΑΛΛΩΝ ΓΕΩΓΡΑΦΙΚΩΝ ΔΕΔΟΜΕΝΩΝ
Επιμέρους στόχοι της εργασίας είναι η παρουσίαση της μεθοδολογίας για την παραγωγή θεματικών Δασικών Χαρτών (Forest Map) που ακολούθησε το JRC (Joint Research Centre) της Ευρωπαϊκής Ένωσης για όλη την Ευρώπη με στόχο την κατηγοριοποίηση της έκτασης σε Δάσος και Μη Δάσος. Αντίστοιχα, εφαρμόζεται η μεθοδολογία για τα ελληνικά δεδομένα και, τέλος, γίνεται σύγκριση των αποτελεσμάτων με τους θεματικούς χάρτες του JRC.
